McLaren

The launch of the McLaren Senna needed to do more than introduce a new car. It had to embody the extreme philosophy behind it.

Named after Ayrton Senna, the car represented McLaren’s most uncompromising expression of performance. The challenge was to translate that engineering ambition into an emotional, cinematic story that could live beyond traditional automotive advertising.

Objective

Create a launch film that captured the spirit of the McLaren Senna and positioned it as the ultimate expression of McLaren’s performance mindset.

The work needed to inspire aspiration, reinforce McLaren’s engineering authority and build desire for one of the most extreme road cars ever made.

Strategy

Tell the story through mentality, not machinery.

Instead of focusing on specs or features, the film was built around the mindset required to create and drive the Senna. A narrative of discipline, sacrifice and obsession with performance replaced traditional product messaging.

The tone needed to feel premium, raw and purposeful, reflecting the car’s singular focus on speed and control.
